Before founding Novum Capital Partners in 2018, Gabriele was a Managing Director at JP Morgan in Geneva, where he built a client portfolio of over USD 4 billion across 30 families.

Gabriele’s specialty is advising his clients on their full balance sheet including all aspects of wealth planning, portfolio management and credit advice (including mortgage, jet, yacht and art financing, as well as complex credit deals).

Between 2011 to 2016, Gabriele served as a member of the JPMorgan Private Banking Advisory Council. He started his career at BSI in Lugano and moved to Geneva, where he led the bank’s advisory team.

Gabriele holds a degree from Bocconi University in Milan.

Sebastian joined Novum Capital Partners in 2021. He brings extensive experience from his 13 years with UBS’ international wealth management and global family office desks, where he covered sophisticated families across Europe out of Zurich and London. 

Clients entrusted Sebastian with their global wealth situations, and he successfully built one of the largest client portfolios in the Western European market at UBS. Sebastian’s typical clients have complex structures in multiple jurisdictions with its investment and tax considerations. He also assists in family governance and involves the next generation where possible.

He graduated from the Zurich University for Applied Science and is a CFA charter holder. He is fluent in German, English & French with basic knowledge in Croatian.

Maria is a Senior Banker who joined Novum Capital Partners in 2024. Previously she was a Partner at Decisive Capital Management in Zurich advising private and institutional clients, following a long tenure at JP Morgan (Suisse) SA as a trusted advisor for Swiss and international clients.

Maria is driven by assisting the families she works with to solve challenges they face when structuring, preserving and growing their wealth, often across complex structures and multiple jurisdictions. Her specialization lies in providing holistic advice across her clients’ balance sheet and liquidity spectrum, including  but not limited to portfolio management, credit advice and wealth planning.

Maria holds an M.A. in Classics from the University of Oxford, speaks multiple languages fluently and is passionate about philanthropy, art and sustainable investing. She supports various institutions in those fields and holds several board positions.

Julien joined Novum Capital Partners in 2024 as Chief Investment Officer. In his previous role as CIO at the Meyer Family Single Family Office, Julien oversaw a diverse $bn+ portfolio across most asset classes.

Prior to this, he served as an Investment Manager at Upfront Ventures, directing investments into early-stage startups in European markets, and as a Partner at Airbus Ventures, leading investments in global technology startups. Julien's tenure at JPMorgan in Paris and Geneva, catering to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and foundations, further underscores his ability to deliver tailored investment solutions and exemplary client service.

With a master's degrees in aerospace engineering and software development from the Ecole des Mines, France, Julien integrates technical acumen into his investment strategies.

Vittorio joined as a partner at Novum Capital Partners in 2018. In his role as Market Strategist, Vittorio is responsible for the investment strategy and asset allocation.

Previously, he has worked for over 16 years as the multi-asset class fund manager at BSI, where he successfully managed two fixed income and foreign exchange Total Return funds investing across a large array of financial instruments. Most recently, he worked as Portfolio Manager at Core Asset Management, where he was responsible for the asset allocation and portfolio management of a Total Return strategy.

Vittorio holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from LIUC Castellanza.

Karim joined Novum Capital Partners in 2019 as senior Investment Manager responsible for public equity investments. He previously worked for 8 years as assistant portfolio manager and senior analyst at Jabre Capital Partners. Prior to this, he spent 6 years as equity analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns and M. Safra & Co. Karim started his career at Rockwell Automation.

Karim holds a MBA in Finance, Accounting and Strategic Management with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a B.A. in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.

Liz joined Novum Capital Partners in 2021 as a senior multi-asset trader. She previously worked at Jabre Capital Partners, a Geneva-based hedge fund. During her 13-year tenure at Jabre Capital, she held several roles, the last one being Head of Trading. Liz began her career in London working at various investment banks including Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank before joining hedge funds Bennelong Asset Management and GLG Partners.

She holds a B.A in Commerce Accounting from the University of Tasmania.

Valentine joined Novum Capital Partners in 2022 as an equity Investment manager. Previously Valentine was at Berenberg in London where she worked as an equity research analyst in the consumer discretionary team covering luxury goods, sporting goods, retail & eyewear sectors. Prior to this, she was investor relations officer at EssilorLuxottica. She also worked within the luxury goods equity research teams at HSBC and Kepler Chevreux.

Valentine holds an MSc in Financial Markets and Investments from Skema Business School completed across France, China and the US.

Daniele joined Novum Capital Partners in 2019 as FX, Rates & Derivatives Investment Manager. Previously, he worked as a Portfolio Manager at Generali Investments Europe. Prior to that, he worked at BBVA in the Global Markets and Distribution division and at Quantyx Advisors in Milan.

Daniele holds a BA and a MSc in Banking and Finance from Cattolica University in Milan. He also attended international academic programs at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).

Previously Maxime spent 6 years at J.P. Morgan Alternative Asset Management, most recently as a Portfolio Manager in charge of the Portfolio/Research & Relationship Management for customised Hedge Fund mandates covering UHNW and Institutional clients across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He started his career in 2013 within the Hedge Fund Operations unit of J.P. Morgan International Private Bank.

Maxime holds a Master of Science in Finance from Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Flavio joined Novum Capital Partners in 2021 as Investment Manager responsible for fixed income investments. He started his career with BSI Bank in Lugano, where between 1993 to 2012 he managed several fixed income funds such as the Multibond USD. From 2002, he was Head of the Fixed Income Unit within the Asset Management department, where he was responsible for 8 funds and 4 fund managers (AUM CHF1.8 billion), and was a member of the Tactical Asset Allocation Committee (OTAC) of the BSI Group.

In 2012, he joined Patrimony 1873, the Family Office of EFG Group, as a senior partner, where he managed the White Fleet III Globes Euro Credit Bond Fund and advised clients in the fixed income space. Flavio holds a M.A. in Economics from Fribourg University and is a Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst.

Giovanni joined Novum Capital Partners in 2020 as an analyst. In 2023, after three successful years at Novum, Giovanni is responsible for Private Equity and Venture Capital investments.

Previously, he worked in Milan at UBS Asset Management in the Sales department for a year, and at UBS Wealth Management in the Global Segments division for two years. 

Giovanni graduated from Bocconi University with a Master of Science in Accounting, Financial Management and Control. He also attended international academic programs in Northwestern University in Chicago and in Alliance Manchester Business School.

Agnese joined Novum Capital Partners in 2024 as a Private Equity/Venture Capital Investment Manager.

She previously worked at Decisive Capital Management as Venture Capital/Growth Analyst focusing on direct tech investments. Prior to this, she was an M&A Analyst in Gerald Metals and Banque Profil de Gestion (One Swiss Bank). Agnese started her career at European Investment Fund as Venture Capital Fund Investments Analyst.

Agnese is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and holds a MSc. In Economics from Cattolica University in Milan. She also holds a Private Markets Certificate from Oxford University SBS, as well as a Postgraduate Master in Private Equity from IFBL.

Nicolas joined Novum Capital Partners in 2022 as an analyst. Previously, he worked for the investment bank Natixis in Paris in the Trade and Treasury Solutions department.

Nicolas completed a master's degree in Management & International Business with a specialisation in banking and finance at Inalco - Langues O' in Paris, and pursued a law degree at the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas. He is fluent in French, Russian and English, and has a solid knowledge of Japanese as well as basic knowledge of German.

Luca joined Novum Capital Partners in 2023 as an analyst intern. Previously, Luca worked in Tax and Corporate consulting at Studio BBM Consulting.

Luca holds a Master of Science in Wealth Management from University of Geneva and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Corporate Finance from Università degli Studi di Pavia.

Hugo joined Novum Capital Partners in 2023 as an analyst intern. Previously, he worked in Kepler Cheuvreux’s middle office equity brokerage department.

Hugo holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Bocconi University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from HEC Lausanne. He also attended the Stockholm School of Economics as part of an Erasmus during his Master.

Nikolaos joined Novum Capital Partners as an Analyst Intern in 2023. Prior to joining Novum, he worked as a Research Assistant for the Université de Neuchâtel.

Nikolaos holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from Université de Neuchâtel and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia. He also participated in an Erasmus program at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg.

Alejandro joined Novum Capital Partners in 2023 as an analyst intern. Prior to joining Novum, he worked for the Wealth Management team in Credit Suisse Spain, two years in Madrid and one year in Valencia.

Alejandro completed a master's degree in Investment Banking & Capital Markets at Garrigues in Madrid, and pursued a BA degree at the Universidad Complutense. He also passed the CFA Level I and the CAIA Level I. 

Alessandro joined Novum Capital Partners in 2021 as a functional consultant. Previously, he worked as a functional consultant in Geneva at SuisseTechPartners for two years and in Milan at CBP Italia for one year.

Alessandro graduated from Cattolica University of Milan with a bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance and Insurance and with a master’s degree in Economics.

Julien joined Novum Capital Partners in 2023 as Legal Counsel, Head of Compliance and Risk Management.

Previously, he worked as Senior Legal Counsel in various departments of Credit Suisse Asset and Wealth Management in Zurich. Prior to that, he worked for 4 years as Senior Legal and Compliance counsel for an International Wealth Structuring Group headquartered in Luxembourg and for 4 years as Senior Legal Counsel in an International Law Firm based in Geneva and New-York city.

Julien is a lawyer and holds a Master’s degree in Law and Economics with a specialization on contracts and business law from the Savoie Mont-Blanc University.

Wilson joined Novum in 2022 as administrative assistant and office manager. He was previously a treasurer at Trans TC SA for 3 years and an administrative and accountant assistant at Agrolar SAS in Bogota D.C. for 2 years.

Wilson holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from SENA Colombia.

Simon joined Novum Capital Partners as Head of the Client Service Specialist (CSS) team in 2023. His career path started as Portfolio Manager in the real estate sector and was pursued in multi-family offices such as Suntrust Investment, in Geneva.

In addition to portfolio management, he also assumed responsibilities encompassing back-office tasks, including database management and client reporting.

Simon holds a Bachelor of International Management and a Master's degree in Economics from University College London.

Sarra joined Novum Capital Partners in 2022 as an analyst intern. Previously, she worked in corporate credit rating field at Scope Group in Berlin and in Mergers and Acquisitions field at Mazars in Lausanne.

Sarra holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Finance from HEC Lausanne university.

Paolo joined Novum in 2022 as support Officer. For 28 years to date, he has been in the real estate sector, as well as construction and renovation, in Switzerland and Italy, first directly by managing his own workers, then indirectly with external teams.

He has been able to come into contact with different sectors, including the hotel industry as the most significative experience, while participating in the renovation of the Grand Hotel Majestic, in Pallanza on Lake Maggiore, over a period of five years, where he also experienced hotel management, during the summer season.

Paolo did his studies at the LIUC “Libero Istituto Carlo Cattaneo in Castellanza” ITA, obtaining his degree in Business Economics.

Zoulira, joined Novum Capital Partners in 2023 as Banking Specialist Back Office.

Previously, she has accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in financial Reporting & Consolidation, Planning & Analysis, Accounting and Cost controlling within diverse international companies spanning banking, industries, commercials, and services during more than 20 years in addition to her expertise in enterprise project management, successfully leading international cross-functional teams in delivering enterprise projects to high standards.

Zoulira holds a master’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree of international trade coupled with a PMP certification.

Claudio studied at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Geneva, graduating in 1990 with a Master’s degree in Business Management.

He first worked in the banking sector for over 20 years, in Geneva, Zurich and Lausanne, in various departments such as derivatives and structured products middle offices, securities lending, hedge funds dealing, private equity financial controller.

He then worked in some independent Asset Management/Familiy offices. He joined Novum Capital Partners in 2023 as Banking Specialist Back Office.

Maria joined Novum Capital Partners in 2023 as a Senior Onboarding Specialist.

Prior to joining Novum, she worked as an Onboarding Compliance Officer in Santander Private Banking International in Geneva for 3 years. Maria previously worked as a Legal Specialist for Adobe Inc. in Sydney and as a Case Manager/Associate for an International Law firm in San Francisco, California. She started her career as a Legal Consultant for an international consulting company based in Bogota, Colombia.

Maria holds an LL.M degree from the University of California - Berkeley School of Law with a double specialization in Business Law and Intellectual Property Law. She is also a bar registered attorney in Colombia with a LL.B degree from the Santo Tomas University.
